Saw South Park skewer Kristi Noem for shooting her dog. Thought it was a joke--until I looked it up. She really wrote in her memoir: “I hated that dog," so she shot it!
Says her wirehaired pointer, Cricket, was “less than worthless as a hunting dog.” So she took the dog to a gravel pit and shot it.
