Moving house several years ago, I could initially only have one carry case of around 30 LPs, so obviously, careful selection was crucial. One of the records I realised I didn't want to be without, surprisingly, was the Ace Frehley solo album. It's such a particularly cool record. RIP Ace!

Seeing The Beta Band's comeback gig in Glasgow was really something. It has brought to mind the woman in the KARP documentary who said a band's music is the sound of their friendship. To experience this thing that only these friends can do. Love, joy, magic. The creative spirit endures. Unkillable.

The importance of a word.
Many versions/sources (including the official Creedence youtube channel!) incorrectly have the lyric as "Have you ever seen the rain/Coming down ON a sunny day" when it's actually "Coming down a sunny day".
The former is a Noel Gallagherism; the latter mysterious poetry.
