Silently purchasing the games those devs made on day one, not even playing them, just smiling to myself after being way too invested in Barkley 2, watching their success finally come to fruition.
Look Outside is not only an amazing survival RPG, it has the same artist & composer as the never-released Barkley 2.
Really cool that they recovered from that and are making games again, their stuff is just too good! TRUE DOOM-MURDER HEADS, unite!

b) a payment processor/puritan brigading ban
c) "too critical of governments" ban

Word, I’m noticing people are blatantly leaving a huge void in their criticisms of PIF/Qiddiyah for the bigots to swoop in and co-opt. Like no pushback whatsoever. I don’t believe for a second people are simply unaware that they’re being used to marginalize Middle Eastern/Muslim/Arab people.

Every turn-based RPG dev should simply be bestowed a FF7 Remake/Rebirth budget of multi-millions and a top-class dev team to faithfully reimagine it as an ATB game complete with reimagined useless skills intact just for funsies/visual variety/things to click/justify the materia menu still existing.
i think the biggest fundamental Thing turn-based rpg devs can do to improve their combat is to consider turn economy. there's a lot deeper nuance you could take into this, but on the surface level, everyone who's played an older game has felt this:

I'm going to have to stop using it as a subscription if they aren't investing in refining proven academic standards. I don't need to pay a subscription if I'm just getting "Spanish 2025 edition." It's an admission that learning methodology isn't the most important to their product.
