As for this shot, I have a vague idea on how they did it, considering every cursed spirit looked vaguely animal-like or humanoid, and the individual animation is really just the camera moving rather than the cursed spirit itself. It still boggles me how it was done so masterfully though.

One shot I'd like to personally shout out is the scene where Choso uses Piercing blood on the cursed spirits chasing Yuji. Aside from the cinematography being stelar as always, I specially enjoy how tactile the cursed spirits look, as the camera jump cuts to each one being pierced, [+]

I've been watching Jujutsu Kaisen's third season. The art direction in this season is absolutely impeccable, and it really is a step up from both the first and second season. Every episode, down to the individual keyframes, have an impressive amount of care and thought put into it.
