#NowPlaying I seem to remember this LP met with a few sniffy reviews in 2022. I thought it was a sweet record and I warmed to it immediately. And right now it’s exactly how I want to hear the songs of Brian Wilson. Simple, stripped-down & devotional cover versions. #sheandhim #brianwilson

And so in a giddy, wrist-flapping tizz I bought tix for The Waterboys at Roundhouse… only to realise that I’ve got a long-standing job that night. Delighted to pass tix on to 17 year old daughter - same age as me when I first bought This Is The Sea. Is that the circle of life of which they speak?
