Andrew Rosindell, just the best defecting to Reform then 😅
January 18, 2026 at 8:36 PM
Okay this is a good U-turn. Baffling they thought it would wash with backbench Labour MPs to water down the Hillsborough law.

Jenrick won’t be a Reform MP later this year
Jenrick defection to Reform is the end of him. Farage already struggles to contain more than one outsized ego in his parliamentary party. Certainly no room for anything the size of Robert's inflated sense of self-worth.

You mark my words - it'll end badly.

Of everything, and there's a lot, Labour could say about Jenrick to condemn him, that he "presided over an open borders experiment" isn't just objectively bollocks, it is also hugely offensive to those people whose lives Jenrick ruined as Immigration Minister. 1/

I mean the main question is how tf Kemi didn’t see Jenrick’s actions coming, like cmon you can see his ambition from SPACE

The problem with Labour’s U-turns

Rather than conveying strength and flexibility, they have too often advertised weakness and incoherence

The PM really needs to get to the point in his responses and take his eyes off his folder. He’s making LOTO look kinda competent #PMQs

I cannot deal with the fact the Government are u-turning AGAIN, this time on digital ID

Like don’t get me wrong, it was a bad policy, but they cannot follow through on anything.

Voter trust is already in hell, what do they think this will do?

I’m so exhausted, they may as well call a GE now.

It was utterly bizarre to hear the Tory frontbench response to today's statement on intimate and abusive deepfake images. The whataboutery, the conflation of issues and the lack of seriousness was breathtaking, even by their current standards.
Shad Tech Sec, Julia Lopez MP, despite (apparently) agreeing with gov't online portection aim, started a BIZARRE apologia/whatabout over X that equated Grok to "crude drawings", drew in Iran, rape gangs, immigration, trans rights, and even blamed children for "sharing their images too freely". 👀 ~AA

Fair play Liz Kendall is holding a stronger line against X and Grok than I thought. The Government need to ensure Ofcom do their bloody job and sanction the platform.

However, it’s an absolute farce that the Government is not just withdrawing from posting on the platform altogether.

Farage is usually more politically savvy than this, recruiting Zahawi.

Recruiting so many former Tories actually opens him up to a very easy attack line from Labour.

And goodness knows they need something effective to hit Reform with.

Banter outcome if this is what prevents a Reform govt

Zahawi can lead Reform's crackdown on tax avoidance. Plenty of experience.

The face they’re about to broadcast a #CallTheMidwife episode tonight set in 1971 that deals with the rise of second wave feminism and featuring characters burning their bras is wild.

I’m so pleased it’s had such longevity - it’s a great drama underpinned by such great modern social history.

Louise Haigh bang on the money, as ever
Yesterday I posted my last ever Tweet and called on the Government to do the same.

Read more below on why I think it’s time to leave the cesspit formerly known as Twitter.

TRAITOR ON TRAITOR WARFARE. Fiona is such a *MESSY* traitor and I love her for it, what an icon 🤣😍

The fact that the banishment was a chance, they set fire to and stabbed bulls. And Claudia’s Rachel Reeves-style pussy bow was a slay too.
