In the debate over whether shopping strips should be directly accessible by cars, importantly, vehicular access can still occur, but priority is given to pedestrians, cyclists and public transport. Cars are given access as a guest, or subject to everyone else’s safety. #activetravel #copenhagen

Fairly typical city street in Copenhagen. From the right: space for pedestrians, cyclists, buses and then cars. Though not what one might call a protected bicycle lane. Who does it better?
