A new approach to diagnosing #kidneycancer, called the Cambridge kidney One-Stop Mass Investigation Clinic, was trialled at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge halving the time from biopsy to treatment decision.

A small study has shown that patients with advanced #kidneycancer who ate a diet high in fibre lived longer when treated with certain cancer drugs called immunotherapies.

We supported the renal oncology CNS and health care professionals from The Royal Surrey Cancer Centre to host a #kidneycancer patient day.
This is a great way for patients and carers to share their experiences, learn about, treatments, dietary advice, exercise and much more.

Researchers from the University of California in Los Angeles have developed a new kind of immunotherapy that uses specially engineered immune cells that attack #kidneycancer tumours without the need to customise treatment for each individual patient.
