Ooh Roman Polanski's "The Tenant" interrupted by Bruce Lee's "Enter the Dragon"...
Y’know when the characters in a movie go to see a movie and it feels really meta? Well, with an “Ultimate Double Feature,” we play the first movie up until the point when they enter a cinema to watch a different film… then we play that film… then we go back to the first film to finish that story.

This very recent part of Portland's past is something everyone in the safe streets and transportation reform movement needs to understand and learn from. Highly recommend the It Did Happen Here podcast and book --> bikeportland.org/2021/01/18/i...

Sure, the Dilley, Texas ICE facility confiscates children's letters and drawings pleading for help from the public, but the "Hogan's Heroes"-style sitcom AI will write about this in 20 years? All the hologram Emmys

OMFG I was giggling describing this skeet to spouse earlier:

"They. Have. NO idea what motivates humans beyond 'make money'. Your volunteer gigs, my community orchestra, Wikipedia, Red Cross-- these things literally don't exist cuz Why I Do If No Wealth/Fame/b00bs'"
Writers if you could drop your novel or short story into an AI and have it make a great and watchable movie out of your story, and you could sell that movie, would you do it? #writers #WritingCommunity

They tell you one person can't change the world. They are WRONG.

RIP Frederick Wiseman, whose debut "Titicut Follies" (1967) lead to public shock, a trial (!), and legislative reform.
