Absolutely blows my mind that Americans have this attitude to work / life. That they put up with hardly any annual leave, being in massive debt for health and education, no paid maternity leave. Greatest land in the World though... for employers.

The match was a banger & both competitors delivered at the highest level. Takeshita & Tsuji have really good chemistry & their moves all have satisfying impact.
I just can’t get over a fanbase not accepting one of the greatest wrestlers of all time because they are so insular & tradition-bound.

I’m happy Takeshita achieved his IWGP Championship dream but I feel bad that some New Japan fans treated him like an unwelcome outsider & the company leaned into that. Booking Tsuji to win via Crab felt like a slap across the face. The match was great, Tsuji is great but that sentiment feels gross.

Excellent match. Not the result I hoped for but not at all upset. Let’s hope Tsuji awakens to the global level that Takeshita sees for New Japan & can usher in a future rather than trying to reclaim the past again. #NJPW
