Not a bad weekend:

The Audenried senior shares a bond with Shawnetta Stewart, who had held the girls’ basketball scoring record since 1996. They overcame doubters and challenges while remaining unselfish.

Even amid tumult, strife the Miami Heat showed a key ingredient Wednesday night that the Sixers have yet to master consistently: www.inquirer.com/sixers/nba-t...
Despite roster changes amid NBA trade deadline, the Sixers still have an important area to address
The Miami Heat proved Wednesday night that they have the culture to tune out distractions and win games. The Sixers will need to do the same, no matter what the roster looks like.

Watching NFL analysts on TV twist themselves and their logic into knots to give Josh Allen MVP has been fun to watch, and probably more entertaining than the actual “debate.”

If you turned it into a drinking game and sipped after every contradiction, you’d be a puddle by noon

Sixers are wearing the Spectrum-themed unis again, so I was asked to share some childhood memories.

Somebody was generous calling my Pops a “legend,” but much appreciated!
😂🫡

Ironically, I wasn’t even born for what’s now become my fav memory…

I’m not saying there isn’t some good NBA ball these days and even within this game, but FFS.

I love the game w/ every fiber of my being, but it hurts my soul to watch it played like this.

End of game was ugly, but PG in the midpost was a good sign to me. Should’ve been using his skillset there all szn. Oubre & Maxey can score there, too. Catch, turn, & face from midpost helps create for others, maybe force doubles, & can create easier shots 1.5 dribbles from the rim, & maybe more FTs

Good defensive teams like the Rockets, especially late, aren’t giving up many layups and 3s, so you better have a midrange game 🤷🏾‍♂️ tough-contested 2s still win games, too
