You aren’t giving White American racism enough credit.
It’s well-documented, the Nazis used white ppl’s treatment of Black Americans as the playbook for criminalizing/punishing Jews for being Jewish.
In fact, Hitler actually thought some aspects of Jim Crow’s proud legalized racism went too far.
