I think the ignorance of Covid & long COVID is an issue. Like many illnesses you can be spreading an illness before you have symptoms so the idea of only masking when when sick is limited. Covid it’s even worse since 40% of those with Covid & spreading it are asymptomatic so masking important.

I cannot get through to our sweet yet dumb as a rock chemo giver. 1st time in clinic when all chairs were full of 90% unmasked cancer patients. I ran to car to get air purifier and she tries to calm ME down. Flu is “just” flu, Covid is no big deal. WTF lady?! His WBC are down - he can’t get sick!!!

😷 Friends, plz share tips to prevent infection during surgery. Hubs has multiple myeloma & needs a rod in femur to prevent fracture. We’ve been extremely 🦠cautious since the beg & this is first time he’s been in a room w/ others w/out his mask on.

Walked in masked for oncology appt & labs. Reception grabs her box of masks & asked do you have symptoms? No, we mask all the time. She says “Smart there’s a lot of folks sick!” and pushes the boxes of masks back -never puts one on. 😬🫤😅
