Well it looks like this place will be calmer for writing stuff than X. Haven’t written for many months…not sure why…mojo misplaced and should be querying more agents but just can’t find the motivation.

Not working on my WIP for over a month has been difficult, but life sometimes gets the better of you. When I’m able to return to it I hope that a read-through will throw up some much needed perspective after the brain holiday. Writing though…miss it.

I’m like ‘let’s finish this WIP’ and the WIP is like ‘you can’t handle me’ and I’m like ‘shut up’ and the WIP is like ‘I’m full of holes’ and I’m like ‘you’re mean’ and the WIP is like ‘you’re not fit to finish me’ and… damn. What if it’s right!

ILN, Inescapable Life Nonsense. It has been in my way for nearly two weeks and has stopped me from writing. Can one of the daily Tory pledges for new laws to distract us be a complete ban on adult responsibility for aspiring writers. It’s no weirder than any of the others ones they’ve trotted out.

Wondering if the sadness at a possible avian mortality away from these blue skies will fade if this place becomes what we loved about the former? Do you think it can remain a nice place? Or will it become an echo chamber? Everything is so new here, so there is no fate set in stone.

I'm writing a new scene. It is hurting more than it should, but not my fingers. It hurts my soul. It hurts to read your own words when they don't fit properly. Must plop it out though, I need to get it onto the potter's wheel and sculpt this literary turdlet into a workable vessel for storytelling.

However many times I explain it to my cat, he doesn't get that 'stroking you isn't confirmation of an intention to feed'. So now he just does this.
