For our next Christmas update, we have Piracy Deluxe. A near-finished Amiga conversion of the C64 game Piracy that has finally surfaced after 30+ years. Cancelled after Commodore's collapse, now preserved and playable at last.

An early Christmas update! In the late 80s, Level 9 built H.U.G.E to push beyond text adventures. One casualty was Grange Murders, an ambitious Cinemaware animated detective game with multiple crimes. Canned in 1991, PC demos & assets have been unearthed!

L’association MO5, dont l’impressionnant fonds n’avait jusqu’à présent été dévoilé qu’à l’occasion d’expositions temporaires, ouvre, samedi, son musée à Arcueil, dans le Val-de-Marne. Un espace de 1 200 mètres carrés destiné à valoriser l’histoire méconnue du jeu vidéo.

Nouveau soutien pour le musée via Philippe Ulrich, cocréateur entre autres de Captain Blood, du Deuxième Monde, cofondateur d’Ere Informatique (1ere société d'édition de JV en🇫🇷) puis de CRYO mais aussi l’un des tout 1ers à avoir rêvé d’un vrai musée du JV en France!
Voici ce qu’il nous écrit⬇️

U n nouveau soutien pour le musée via Philippe Ulrich, co-créateur entre autres de Captain Blood, du Deuxième Monde, co-fondateur d’Ere Informatique (1ere société d'édition de jeux vidéo en France) puis de CRYO mais aussi l’un des tout premiers à avoir rêvé d’un vrai musée du jeu vidéo en France… Voici ce qu’il nous écrit : « Je me rappelle les premières réunions autour d'un musée des jeux vidéo en 2012. Il était question d'un lieu de conservation et d'exposition qui raconte cette fabuleuse histoire du jeu vidéo .Pour ma part, je souhaitais y inclure un espace de réflexion sur la loi de Moore, les technologies numériques et leur impact sur l'Homme, une vigie en somme.
