One of the most maddening aspects of Trump’s deranged personality is what an abject coward he is & has always been. No public events today; hops on AF1 & flies down to Mar-a-Lago to hang out w/his fellow trash. He’s is in trouble and he will hide, that’s not a POTUS it’s a PAB.

I don't care how Schumer himself votes. The bottom line is that as Senate Majority Leader, Lyndon Johnson would have last night had on his desk eight sealed mason jars with the severed hands of every senator who even thought about raising them to vote yes. As a majority leader should.

Graduate seminar did a deep dive on Thomas Paine’s Common Sense yesterday. At the line, “in America the law is king,” they (14 students from 6 countries) burst out laughing. I've been doing this for 35 years and this is the first time that was a laugh line.
