Lowell Police are investigating a shooting that took place this evening inside an apartment building at 305 Dutton St in Lowell. I captured some footage of a blood trail leading from an elevator in the building before I was shooed away by LPD.

It has been confirmed that a male jumped off the bridge at about 2 pm today.
Apparently firefighters set up a high-angle rope rescue system to access the riverbed below the University bridge in Lowell a little while ago. Rescue boat was parked on the bridge. Unfortunately I got here late, but I’ll try to get some details.

Reports of a shooting at 22 S Walker St in Lowell at about 3:30 pm today. Woman called 911 to say her boyfriend had been shot in arm and stomach. MedFlight requested. The suspect fled on foot, and a BOLO has been issued.
