Far-right extremist movements always start with the most vulnerable or marginalized communities and work their way up the ladder. This is because normies are less likely to take a stand and might even jump on board. This is why the GOP is targeting migrants and transgender people.
Trump's post today on X declaring Nov. 5 to be "liberation day" against migrants reads as reckless as when he called for the Jan. 6 protest to "be wild." Except this time he's not targeting one of the world's most secure buildings; he's targeting our most vulnerable family, friends and neighbors.
