This is incredible chutzpah when anyone with eyes can look at the video and see that not a word of this is remotely true.
Noem: "What happened was our officers were out trying to get a car stuck out of the snow when they were surrounded and assaulted and blocked in by protesters ... this was an act of domestic terrorism" (It was 40 degrees in Minneapolis yesterday and snow was melting ... )

ICE shot a woman point blank in the head. ICE is at high school in Minneapolis abusing & shooting students point blank with pepper spray. So, has Tim Walz activated those on-standby National Guard troops yet to protect the people (and definitely not use them to quell protests)? Any motion there? No?
Tim Walz isn’t up for re-election. He could theoretically do any & every off-the-wall thing to protect people from ICE fascists. Play with the law just how Trump does. What does he have to lose??? Well. I assume that would risk his post-office book deals & speaking gigs with the wealthy donor class.
