#PoemsAbout #Blood @thebrokenspine.co.uk @alanparrywriter.co.uk Trying my 'lived experience' on.

my Psyche Ward Robe

how it drips
the sarcasm

the dress
the status

like blood
during surgery

onto sterility.

how it trickles
'til
you can’t get enough

Thanks Alan; everyone.

@tracieadams.bsky.social The Shallot [Vol IV No 2] is officially published! It's not free but a digital version is only $8.00 AUD and having read my contributor copy I do thoroughly recommend it. Look for my poem 'i only dream i'm asleep' on about page 34. Thank you team. ✔️

It’s Wednesday. Got a WIP?

Doesn’t matter if it’s raw or rolling. If it’s yours, it belongs.

Did I even address that correctly. Muddle headed today. #WednesdayWIPs @thebrokenspine.co.uk
Further along the track since Wednesday last. Writing my 'synopsis' - not a memoir; nor catharsis; chasing the detritus from my brain to nail something before the call to submit. A blend of published [minor outlets] and fresh work that has me keen. Also need a killer title. Time is on my side.

Poetry / football on the telly with a mate and pizza and beer? It is a Prelim and my Cats are playing for a spot in the GF. I'll be back to look some more at #PoemsAbout#SilentPlanets later. Thanks for the replies to my post. G

Have a MS. 77 pps. All but. Two Aussie calls from October 1st. Not necessarily local contexts. Social conscience punching wry humour and the irony of daily life. Minimalist images and language. Eight years grinding. 🤔

Part 2: Scott now serves as Mande’s informal consulting editor. We aim to publish the art and writing of bipolar creatives and those who know them. The name “Mande” combines the first syllables of manic depression.

Get this my friends who seek company and belonging while reading likeminded poetry from people like yourself.
Mande began as a conversation between two bipolar friends, Kate Ardis Oden, a writer and copyeditor, and Scott Neuffer, the founder of the successful literary journal trampset.

@mattkendrick.bsky.social introducing Shaino @inkyshaine.bsky.social who has overcome a legacy that would have grounded most writers to break open the poetry scene in our city and is now moving amongst the Australian poetry community where we all anticipate greater things. I commend Shaino to you.
