A good reason to get out there and protest now is that it will serve as a rehearsal for when we'll need massive people power in the streets to fight off the imposition of a MAGA dictatorship. The courts aren't going to be enough to stop these people. We'll need you, your family and your friends.
We're watching an incredibly rapid state collapse--faster than pretty much any except those involving tanks in the streets--in real time. I say this as a person who's been in places with tanks in the streets. And as one who reads enough to know that the first lie of fascism is inevitability.
