The functionality is far from done, but I am at a stage where you can just launch the game and stare at mobs walking around.

I realised I have to remake this solution because I do not like the result - light detection is inconsistent. Now, I need to figure out how to work with Viewports, and that is a pain.
Figuring out lights and shadows was always a difficult task for me for some reason.
I spent this week trying to make a proper light-detection mechanic for stealth, and I think I finally got it.

Indie game development.

Expectation: Programming cool new features and mechanics, implementing genius ideas.

Reality: Spending at least 1 hour on deciding how to draw a simple jump pad, settling for two simple white lines.

I spit on my enemies... and push them with my body. Keyboard controls are not so good, but I need to get a USB cable for the gamepad (for some reason, DualSense stopped working in #GodotEngine in wireless mode after a firmware update). #IndieGameDev #pixelart
