Haven't we learned our lesson after Vietnam? The United States has no business forcing regime change on an independent country. What's next? Heard Trump mention Colombia.

Look, he's probably never going to be replaced, so we have 3 years to let him keep entertaining us.

Is there anything in Project 2025 about the November midterms? Inquiring minds want to know.

Pete, you can't say things like FAFO directly to a camera and expect us to believe you DIDN'T give the order for "no survivors." Seriously?
December 3, 2025 at 4:00 AM
I'm sorry but Hegseth is exactly the kind of guy who'd order "no survivors" and later claim it was Admiral Bradley who gave the order. Because "the fog of war."

GOP have no future. They nominated him three times in a row.

Hegseth says he is not ruling out attacks on Colombia. -- the BBC
WHAT.
December 3, 2025 at 12:14 AM
Still on the BBC. Guest says there is "70% support" 4 destroying Venezuelan drug boats, & that trying 2 decide whether it's legal or illegal is a "purely academic exercise" & that Trump was elected 2 strengthen nat'l security & that's what he's doing. BBC pushback: "Our polling suggests 53% support"
December 2, 2025 at 11:49 PM
Rep. Joaquin Castro, very deadpan, when asked by the BBC about Hegseth's claim that he "didn't see survivors" after the Sept. 2 strike against the alleged Venezuelan drug boat: "I hope we're not planning to invade Venezuela." 💯💯💯

Listening 2 bbc news. A prof from Harvard University is 1 of the guests. She is incredibly, incredibly appreciative of Trump ("the only one who can get a peace deal going b/w Ukraine & Russia" "On Giving Tuesday, this is great news: Dell CEO to donate 2 Trump's fund 4 @ baby born during his term.")

My Reading Year 2025

Favorites I'm reading Belinda Bauer's The Impossible Thing and am completely in its grip. And I don't even like birds. In general. Another favorite: The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating, a memoir by Elizabeth Tova Bailey. The narrator, a woman in her 30s, is stricken with disease…

Favorites I'm reading Belinda Bauer's The Impossible Thing and am completely in its grip. And I don't even like birds. In general. Another favorite: The Sound of a Wild Snail Eating, a memoir by Elizabeth Tova Bailey. The narrator, a woman in her 30s, is stricken with disease that leaves her unable to move. Her only pastime is watching a snail that was in a plant gifted her by a friend.

Wasn't there a black general who abruptly resigned, without explanation, just as the sinking of Venezuelan boats started? Now I know why.

RE: Venezuela in mentioned in Project 2025
The hell -- ?
Since when did Project 2025 get to direct our foreign policy?
Who was the author of Project 2025? I really want to know whether it's the American version of Mein Kampf.

Two months ago I wrote about why my law firm is litigating 63 voting and election cases. Today it is 65 cases covering more than half the country. Eleven of them involve redistricting.

Where are the big law firms? Why isn't legacy media covering this? www.democracydocket.com/opinion/why-...

I can only stand to watch Karoline with the sound off. It doesn't matter what she says. Everything is performance. Which means -- it's all lies.

Watching another Jane Austen adaptation, screenplay by Andrew Davies: Sense and Sensibility. I am loving this version. ❤️❤️❤️ The movie version, all the actors were too old for the parts they played, IMHO. And I usually love Emma Thompson & Kate Winslet.
