Thank you to the Thurston County Democrats for hosting last night's Blue Democratic Gala celebrating the end of the state legislative session. This is a great new annual fundraising event created by the Fundraising Chair Jerry Toompas and his wife & County Chair Kait Toompas.

More than 888,300 Washingtonians count on SNAP to feed their families. But Rep. Newhouse, just like Trump, is pushing cruel cuts and crackdowns. He’s choosing politics over people who are just trying to provide for their families.
