In 'How They Broke Britain', I do a pretty good job of detailing the depth & breadth of Tufton Street/Tory/Murdoch/Mail attempts to scupper the BBC, even as I castigate some presenters for going too easy on precisely the people who seek the Corporation's abolition. But I should have done more. 1/2

Off the top of my head, there have been four egregious examples of weapons grade public racism in the last couple of weeks - Jenrick; the Express hack; Captain Concrete & the Reform woman. The way they are treated by employers, punters & wider media, will directly influence how much more we see.

Just heard the sad news that Matt Tolfrey has passed.
My heart goes out to his family and especially his kids.
Not seen Matt in years as you take different paths and family life. I’ll always remember the fun times in and around Shoreditch and ending the weekend at T Bar with the crew.
