I know some of y'all animals wear your 6 digit unreads as a badge, but I'm trying here okay.

While it's fun, I've only played through the base game end to end once, like +10y ago. IDR where I'm supposed to go, and I keep getting jumped by boss fights.
I might want to stick to gen1-3 for difficulty hacks.

Early impression: like Tactics Ogre, this game doesn't want you to go fast. Feels like you're meant to get walled if you try to progress without grinding some.

It sucks I'm forced to play in 30-45m chunks due to IRL, this game kinda sucks when consumed that way.

This time: I just got a new PC and as I'm doing the setup/migration, I can't help but miss Time Machine.

The 15s clip of APT or Golden were catchy the first 1000 times I heard it, but I'm quite done with them now.

Somehow, I find SK more linear than HK, and telegraphs where you need to go pretty clearly (still in act 1).

Imagine being good enough at your job to get the chance to find out you're actually *not quite good enough* to hang with the undisputed best. And then getting fired.
them's the breaks.

This is the first difficulty hack I've played and it is difficult all right. I have tripled my respect for people that hardcore nuzlocke these type of games for a living. I've been playing with no restrictions, and still getting my ass beat lmao.

Uhhh. Alright...? This was always a possibility with one year left on his deal and ownership changes, but damn.
It's like the game handed out guns to 2 guys in a knife fight, but only the better player knows how to fire it.
(yes i know the solution is get good)

There's a lot of NPCs that try to justify how battling with pokemon is acceptable, but that just makes me think more about how messed up it actually is. Streisand effect.
Anyways 2D pokemon hits different.
