It used to be that Republicans could be racist in a more subtle and sophisticated way.

What happens once the destruction of hospitals can be argued for—rationalized, narrated, managed—as legally and morally sanctioned “necessity”?

I said a lot more and mostly positive things about him. Too bad they chose that one quote.

"Rivera Cosme will sign Bad Bunny’s lyrics in LSPR, bouncing on stage with the full-body energy of the music....LSPR is distinctive from American Sign Language, or ASL, and Bad Bunny’s distinctly Puerto Rican slang already figures into its vocabulary."

The University of Illinois has banned Students for Justice in Palestine & Jewish Voice for Peace for opposing U.S. policy in the Middle East, but they are allowing the College Republicans to remain as a recognized student organization despite calling Alex Pretti and traitor and defending his murder.

The Democratic leadership is finally getting a backbone--refusing to back legislation unless the administration agrees not to do something already illegal under the U.S. Constitution.

I knew the young Serbs who for years had been trying to bring down the Milosevic regime, finally succeeding through a massive nonviolent civil insurrection in 2000. They strongly opposed the NATO bombing of a year and a half earlier, believing it set back their cause.

The Trump administration has named three conservative Islamic political parties in Jordan, Egypt, & Lebanon which openly participate in elections, serve in legislative bodies, and operate within legal political systems as terrorist groups.
I don't like their politics, but they are NOT terrorists!

I'll be speaking at the end of the film this evening.
