I'm putting together a multi-volume global history of popular music c1605-2022 and would love to hear from historians of all things – empire(s), languages, architecture, media, instruments, ye gods, etc. – with ideas for angles, intersections, inclusions. Nothing is too niche!

Gah! That question about 1s did it for me.

16/20!

And yes, I realise now there's no mention of specifically 'brown trout', but hey -- eels!

Hope these are helpful (even without the frog recipes)!

If you need ditto ditto but published in Chicago, let me know.

While an undergrad at UCSC I took Tom Lehrer's Nature of Math course. A decade later I often saw him around Harvard Yard. After my appt to Oxford the college Math fellow wanted to know every detail of those fleeting memories: knowing someone who 'knew' Tom Lehrer gave him street cred. Thanks, Tom.
