Personally, I found the Geneva slander especially funny as a former resident. It all makes sense 😅 (Cynicism aside regarding taxes and the “fun.”)

Well… 😂
I used to work in the charity sector and someone who worked with wealthy donors once told me “of course they’re not leaving London! Look where they’re having all their fun. Where are they going to move, Geneva?”

Ion Iliescu, Romania's first post-1989 president, died today. Controversial legacy. And I am being gentle. Let's see how much gets erased in the near future and in the long term.

Two days ago I had the pleasure of running a session with students from the Ukrainian Catholic University, part of the Third Annual Ukrainian Summer School at Warwick. I am so proud that this event exists and I can only hope that similar opportunities will exist going forward.
