4/ Anyone with an interest in competitive neutrality may lodge a complaint, preferably after discussing it with AGCNCO staff. If the Office does not proceed with an investigation, it provides written advice to the complainant outlining the reasons for its decision.

3/The PC operates the AGCNCO, researching and providing independent advice to government on competitive neutrality policy, as well as receiving and investigating complaints about unfair competition from government businesses.

2/📝Competitive neutrality requirements are enforced and upheld by the Australian Government Competitive Neutrality Complaints Office (AGCNCO).

1/ ⚖️Competitive neutrality means government businesses shouldn’t have an unfair advantage over private businesses just because they are government-owned.

Our new research project will highlight opportunities to support the health of Australia's ecosystems through policy reform.

In this bulletin, Graduate Research Economist Daniel Arzhintar finds that a lack of capital deepening over past 10yrs has contributed to our sluggish productivity growth.

2/ Labour productivity increased by 0.3% in the June quarter and 0.2% over the year to June 2025.
While this is good news, we will need sustained productivity growth to move the needle.
