"Poeh" is inderdaad al veel beter, maar ik mis nog een equivalent voor "Bahn" want dit gaat uiteindelijk niet enkel over treinen maar over het bedrijf en het systeem met al zijn problemen. Maar misschien verwacht ik te veel van een krantenkop 🙂

Die niederländische Übersetzung des Titels der Imagekampagne "Boah, Bahn!" als "Wauw, trein!" ist ungefähr so treffsicher wie die ersonnenen Verspätungsgründe im DB Navigator.

I hear 'chocoladebroodje' quite frequently in our university cafeteria. Maybe I'd need to do a more systematic study there. Though there's a risk that diatopic variation quickly turns into diabetic variation.
"Chocoladebroodje" is a frequently used alternative, but both seem quite common to me.
So much so that Belgian/Brussels French borrowed the "chocoladekoek" as "couque au chocolat".

Let's be honest: nobody knows what 'topicality' really means, let alone how to tell whether a project proposal or article is 'topical' (if that is supposed to be something else than just 'trendy').
Navigating other universities' doctoral regulations or formal requirements for evaluation reports is challenging, but isn't it a privilege and wonderful part of our job that we get to simply spend several hours discussing research, meeting dear colleagues and doing some academic tourism in between?
