Aumentar el precio de una cajetilla de #cigarrillos de $6,20 a $9,50 generaría:

-⬇️ una reducción en la prevalencia de consume a 7,6%,
-⬆️ un aumento en los ingresos fiscales en $42,5M...

En #México 🇲🇽, ⬆️ un impuesto específico de 3 pesos/cigarro:

-⬇️ el consumo hasta 44%,
-aumentaría la recaudación hasta 78 mil millones de pesos, y
-se alinearía con el Plan Nacional de Desarrollo 2025-2030 📈

AASTMT found that:

-44 of 69 illicit brands were missing a health warning,
-all illicit brands were missing a tax stamp, while
-all licit brands complied 📈
