The National Study of American Life, which studies the social determinants of health in preventing and treating Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias in Black and white Americans, was cut less than 2 months after it's renewal.
NDWS surveys of community clinicians, nurses, and direct care workers who care for people living with dementia will help researchers understand the composition, training, and care practices of this vital workforce and why workers burnout and leave their jobs.
