This sounds fun and easy to jump into on the first day!

Oh, love that!

oh and @danielliddle.bsky.social we're def doing your donut lesson prior to the documentation section

I am honestly looking forward to it. Teaching online was necessary due to covid demands and honestly student demand but I can't wait to get this group back in person and do more F2F stuff.

You are so brilliant! This is a great idea as well.

That sounds very, very fun. What are some of the good arguments for their logic?

Since COVID, I've been teaching the tech comm service course online, but returning to in-person this fall (for reasons). I need ideas for a super-engaging day 1 activity to get students social. Anyone have any great ideas?

Stay humble!

It's getting increasingly harder to tumble
out of bed and stumble to the kilchen and pour myself
a cup of ambition.

I lied, not next week but proposals are due Feb 1 (not sure how I messed that up), here is the CFP for folks looking for it @sigdoc-acm.bsky.social

it's just bad on bad.

good tips, i need to do a whole session on it.

Today someone called my office phone while I was in my office. This marks the second time that has happened in the past 12 years.

It's cohosted in Lubbock with CPTSC next year, so kind of a 2-1!

So frustrating!
