Asking people to opt-out of postmortem organ donation, rather than opt-in, can increase the supply of organs from deceased donors. But it can also decrease the supply from living donors, as people assume the organ supply is sufficiently met. In PNAS Nexus: https://ow.ly/ASpk50XmJRZ
Switching to an opt-out policy has a lasting negative effect on living donor rates. Results of a difference-in-differences model with staggered treatment adoption. Hi Pete, I’m super curious about calkit and would love to chat about it. Currently I am using Nix for my project environments which solves any dependency\reproducibility issues when it comes to package versions etc but the workflow to rerun parts of a project is certainly lacking.
