Dank, Michel! Overigens zijn de zeven hoofdzonden niet zomaar het spiegelbeeld van de deugden, ze zijn van latere datum en veel meer gesloten geformuleerd. De deugden zijn veel meer open. Een film daarover zou zeker gaaf zijn, maar filmisch doen de ondeugden het vaak beter 😅

Nee. Zo heet die deugd al 2400 jaar. Bedachtzaam is 1 van de vertalingen. Leea maar. Maar prudentia is al 2 milennia de naam ervoor, dus dat gaan we hier op bluesky niet aanpassen. En, een beetje een vocabulaire is niet erg toch?

Her first book, Beyond the Barricades: Government and State-Building in Post-Revolutionary Prussia, 1848-1858, was published by Oxford University Press in 2019. She has published on a range of topics related to the 1848 revolutions, state-building, empire, and internationalisation. Anna is PI on the AHRC-funded project Imperial Afterlives (2022-5), which examines the end of Europe’s land empires and the creation of international zones after the First World War.
