Going freeze-thaw on my gaming brain by alternating Xenopurge and Redout II
Xenopurge is one of the simplest games to look at, but the tension is unreal. It made my top ten of 2025 and if you like strategy, fast action and some unashamed nods to Alien, it deserves your attention

Xenopurge: ALIENS game without the IP. Autobattler where you issue orders to space marines while watching blips on a monitor. Moody as hell. Loved the atmosphere and concept of this one. Pretty intense for someone as anxious as me, so we'll see, but I give it a full recommendation.
