One reason I'm obsessed with #historical #cdrama #MingDynasty is that it tells the toxic dynamics between usurper #ZhuDi (villain in my Sword Maiden duology) and his two scheming sons. Zhu Di fears payback for his bloody coup. His enthroned son & beloved grandson died young.
