A comic I made digitally in Procreate. Current title is a work in progress, Wren-Ara. The background of the comic is a gradient from black at the bottom to a grayish purple at the top. Panel one at the top left shows two characters, Randolph, a man with light hair and skin wearing a high v neck sweater in a medium tone with a tired but thoughtful look on his face. He has a bob haircut with bangs. He looks away to the side. Janae is a woman with large circle glasses, dark hair in twin buns, and a calm smile. She has a white collar and dark sleeveless button down shirt. Under are poofy sleeves with a stripe right below the poof and the sleeves end just after the stripe. They are in a room where Randolph says “Hey, Janae? I need to talk to you about something.” She looks over and says “Hm?” The next two panels are smaller, one elevated slightly above the other in a sequence. There is a close up of Janae’s face, her hands at her cheeks and a huge smile and sparkly eyes. Around her are sparkles and hearts and her buns are wagging. She says “Did Anna FINALLY confess her feelings for you?!” In the next panel, Randolph’s face is flushed in a deep blush, his hair spikes straight with surprise, and his eyes wide and has an expression of shock on his face as he says “Anna WHAT?!” Next panel you can see the room more, a tiles floor with pillars. Randolph has his arms folded and looks down and Janae slouches over with an embarrassed face. “Ah, nothing… (Forgive me, Anna)” she says as Randolph says “It’s actually about that kid that got left here” Janae: “Let’s sit” Randolph “Okay” The next panel is a far away view with them both sitting on a bench as Randolph says “She barely eats, barely speaks, don’t even know her name. Hasn’t smiled once. It’s been 18 weeks and…” The final image at the bottom shows young Wren- Ara sitting in a dark room at the window. She is faced away and has one hand on the glass as she stares out. Randolph finishes saying “She never leaves that window.”
