Watched the 2nd episode of Game of Wool - poor Meadow! You can actually see the poor girl crumple at the judges comments. They need to decide which one is grumpy judge and which one is nice judge cos two grumpies isn't fun to watch.

I got a bunad! Found gently used on ebay for (I think) a good price. Previous owner was a giantess, so alterations are underway. It's prettier in person than in the pics, and has good twirl!

They’re all blends with predominantly natural fibers (wool or cotton) with acrylic, rayon, and polyester for stretch and durability.

I’m absolutely going to make another hat or two, I’ve found I wear them a lot in winter.

You see I used to have an Etsy business where I made felted products so I know how to work with filtered wool really well and I have raw wool fibers that I can use to do this artwork. I do not want to do felted embroidery, though I want it to be something different

No it's mostly for the meat, right now the wool is very low value as well. The ewes usually have 2 lambs in a year and the ones I don't need to renew the flock get sent to the green fields of the great beyond (and the supermarket freezer).

Everlane boxy crew in cashmere. Regular wool seems to itch me more by the year, so I go for cotton or cashmere as options since blends tend to pill. Most cashmere kind of sucks these days, but I have found theirs to hold up nicely.

While it may not be the rug I was originally looking at (that one was wool and over $5K), I'm very pleased with how it looks. Definitely will go well when the walls are painted and with the theme of art nouveau/art deco. #HomeAdventures

I don't remember the last time I saw a new sweater for sale that seemed woolly and turned out to actually be made of wool. I don't buy plastic sweaters! But it's getting harder and harder to find anything else.

got sticky honey on my favorite wool scarf and had to wash it and now it just smells like detergent instead of all the kinds of perfume i've ever worn and all the kinds of perfume my friends have ever worn when i hugged them

I felt like doodling in wool this weekend. (Sorry for the pun)
Anyways, here's some mushrooms.

(Had to google 68, lol). I find 20 degrees a bit too cold for indoors, but tolerable. Currently in wool socks, fleece sweats, and hoodie layered over a t-shirt in 20.5. It’s excessive a/c in the summer that really grinds my gears.

BS, they're not "working on" anything other than pulling the wool over Maga's eyes

Started watching the knitting thing (it's just Bake Off with wool and needles) and it's pretty inoffensive overall, but in the episode I just watched, they all just knitted ridiculous outfits for scrawny dogs and it's one of the worst things I've ever seen on television. Absolutely horrible.

One thrifted 7$ sweater. 100% merino wool

Nine balls of yarn. 360g of the stuff.

Probably worth around $60?
