Just back in. Wind has thankfully died down. Still -12C (10F) and falling going to be -22C by morning. WoodBoiler blew a pipe. We think the power was off and we didn’t notice & strong wind over fired the boiler. Think I have it fixed. Gonna smoke weed and drink rye until I stop shaking.

Effing Woodboiler over heated and blew a line. Emergency repairs in a minus windchill 🤬

My husband went out to start the woodstove in the shop and fill the woodboiler just before his phone alarm went off.

Now I'm sitting here listening to ice cream truck music waiting for the rest of the days horrors to begin.

Woke up to a huge dump of snow and a power outage so I fired this beast up. Haven't used it in a few years as we have a outside woodboiler (infloor water heating system) for heating.

Despite to different start today now it feels cozy.
