1. A "latest" stories feed. The human mind didn't evolve to read stories wedged between widgets and ads. It yearns to read stories in the order they were published, which you can do right here:

Probably because these billionaire Trump sycophants don't want their staffs getting any ideas... especially before any of those AI widgets are in a stable enough state to properly replace them...

yeah quickshell is great and very powerful. you can replace pretty much every generic ui package (bars, widgets, wallpaper, etc) with a solid quickshell config. can be kinda tedious but 🤷‍♀️

Depressing to see one giant media co gobbling up another in the UK, mirroring what's happening in the US: "Scale itself isn’t the answer. The entertainment business isn’t the same as making widgets"

And TY to Rick for mentioning my newsletter!

When these stories arise, I remind myself that multiple people out in the vastness of America are buying can opener miracle widgets from QVC every day, and that signifies nothing but consumerism filling emotional voids in a capitalist society

How many widgets does Tesla have to sell a year to pay its owner One Trillion Dollars? $1,000,000,000,000

How much does it pay the people who actually create the widgets & their supposed value?

Instead of waiting for a new build for details on the out-of-band Widgets changes, how about we check them out now? 🧵

New full-page Widgets settings below, no longer in a dialog. Dashboards section is now like lock screen widgets settings, lets you change the order in which boards are displayed.

If we must have these nanny widgets for the sake of Jay's ego, the least they could've done is set the default to "Warn" rather than "Hide"...
Wondering why no one likes your posts anymore, even among your friends? It's because @jay.bsky.team and team have decided to hide a huge amount of content from all of our feeds by default.

Here's how to turn it off.

First go to the hamburger menu in the upper left corner
