i mean i barely check twitter but i usually rely on ygorg for translations since its already hard to read kanji as-is without all the weird double meanings they put in as well so i wouldn't know unless they translated something

A small book releases catalog displays the Xenogears VJump guide (infamously reported to have introduced Emeralda's fake name).
Looked at it again and this time saw the fine print.
I figured it would be, I just had to be sure, but the Pilot Manual Part 1 (Weltall's) is in VJump Issue #55 (Jan 1, *1998*; correction there),
Part 2 (Vierge) is in #56 (Feb 1st),
and Part 3 (Heimdall) is in #57 (March 1st).

Not the most complete there on the left, but the best quality Grahf we could find before; just from PW, but like most portraits in PW its severely cropped. The most complete I think was probably in the VJump guide.

Oh riiiight, Em's portrait wasn't another alt colored version, but it goes a step further in a sense, as this version is missing the *shadows* on her clothes (sans the scarf) compared to her PW art. This is from the Chocobo'sMD/XG VJump.
