To cook or to BE cooked? That is the question I'm asking myself this weekend as I frantically write my gothic romance #Jayvik fic for #VampireJayvikWeek & PANIK! I have atrocious time blindness, & this week's work schedule IS NOT HELPING. But either way, I'm excited to see what everyone creates! 😀

"So..." Jayce crowds into Viktor's space, placing his hands on his hips. "Are you hungry?" "Famished," Viktor whispers against Jayce's lips. The moment feels like it stretches on forever, just them and the hot breath between them. Viktor drags his nails up Jayce's arm which elicits a shiver. "However, I can wait a little longer. I find it more satisfying to feed when the blood is really pumping." "I'm sure we can make that happen," Jayce smirks as he presses forward for their lips to meet. The kiss starts tender, tentative and questioning, until Viktor's fang nips Jayce's lip and he opens his mouth with a gasp. Viktor's tongue dives in, licking the back of his teeth as if to map them out. Jayce grips Viktor harder, gently pushing him until his back hits the wall. Viktor's hands find Jayce's hair, nails scraping his skull in the most tantalizing way.

Here is some added info around tagging your works.

Remember to be mindful of others that may want to avoid certain triggers such as blood , dead dove themes, or whatever else, and use #vampirejayvikweek tag on your posts to be shared.
Make sure your fics and art are tagged appropriately. for example, If your work is Dead dove, make sure to also tag what makes it dead dove: Is there CNC, Noncon, incest, etc? Make sure to include it in your tags, both on social media and on ao3. Be aware that on bsky, if you put a character after a word, such as "nsfw/", it will not get muted. Instead, tag it as TW Blood with a space after and then your character. for tagging, aside from DEAD dove content, keep in mind common triggers such as blood. This goes for both socials and ao3.

The sexual tension, eroticism, and lust (blood lust or otherwise) fits Jayvik so well. In canon, we see yearning, pining, resurrection, and giving in to desire. It's easy to see it turned into vampirism. Who is the vampire? Whoever you want it to be. It can be Jayce one prompt, then Viktor the next. You could even make them both vampires. Are there top/bottom requirements? Not at all. It's completely up to you. You can also switch their dynamics depending on each prompt. Is VikJayce allowed? Absolutely! Feel free to interpret the prompts as Machine Herald and Jayce from LoL. You could even mix and match VikJayce with Jayvik variations. A red background with translucent bats flying up the right side of the picture with FAQ cont at the top. Do we have to do all the prompts? Nope! You can choose to do only one, or do multiple. Go with what inspires you. Same applies to the days. Don't feel obligated to do all of them if you only want to do a few of them. Can I include other monsters? Yes! For example, if you want to make Viktor a vampire and Jayce a werewolf, you can. You can create your own AUs or set your setting in canon. In all timelines, in all possibilities, as long as at least one person is a vampire. Is this NSFW only? This is an 18+ event because we allow (and encourage) you to get as explicit as you want, but NSFW isn't required. Is Dead Dove allowed? Yes! Make sure to tag your art and fics appropriately with both the dead dove tag, as well as what makes it dead dove. Same goes for all tags that may trigger people, like blood.

After watching Only Lovers Left Alive, I'm considering doing Vampire Jayvik week. I have an idea for a fic that would be the same story but I'd post a chapter each day and try to fit the prompts. I'm mostly thinking out loud but I think this could be neat.
