One way to actually get yourself to create art for a position you've always wanted is to act like you are deserving of the job. Like, for me, I want to have some form of credential on game UI art/asset. So I've made these because I want to show on my portfolio most importantly, that I can do it.
Game user interface (UI) I worked on for Hellworld Lover. The primary color theme I've used here are pastel pink, white and muted brown. These are the character profiles the players can access in the settings of the game. Players can see how much they're progressing in relationships with these dateable characters. Still maintaining the pastel pink, white and muted brown colors. This is the option menu found in the settings. Players are able to choose full screen or windowed mode for the game as well as music and sound effect volume. It's the quit screen. It's asking if you're sure you want to quit. There is a yes or no button for you to click. This window is also made with pastel pink and white flowers. The Settings screen I made for Hellworld Lover. Here, players are able to save or load their game. There is also a button to go back to the inventory screen and to quit the game. #GameUI #GameAsset 3 logos I've drawn for a contest and for a personal game. Top Left - Logo says 'Diamond Falls'. use cases. Her example was google maps. It has a way to lay out multiple routes, where it's very clear visually which route it recommends, but also helps you understand the context for its choice (traffic, travel times of alternate routes, tolls etc) and lays them out on a map in a way that is digestible so you can quickly decide if there's an alternate route you'd prefer to take. My guess is that when we see a truly AI native user interface, it will incorporate these principles - not necessarily telling you this is what you have to do, but communicating extremely efficiently (probably visually) what your options are and with an opinionated point of view on how to evaluate them. Maybe there are other examples today beyond google maps routes.
