Far-right influencers have long pushed a narrative, still unsupported by evidence, around a “grand conspiracy” against President Trump. Now the narrative has emerged in a nascent but widening federal investigation.

The Justice Department moved an inquiry that appeared initially focused on the former C.I.A. director John O. Brennan to South Florida and is beginning to recruit line prosecutors.

4/6 The Database tracks seven categories of misconduct, but also celebrates "Defenders of the Rule of Law": government lawyers who show legal courage and integrity, refusing pressure from superiors to make arguments unsupported by fact or law.

"Their theory of the case, still unsupported by the evidence: A cabal of Democrats and “deep-state” operatives, possibly led by former President Barack Obama, has worked to destroy Mr. Trump..."

People begin to believe it, true or not, when they’re allowed to give it this kind of legitimacy

From @theathletic.com: Two British women made history by becoming the first female crew to successfully row non-stop and unsupported across the Pacific Ocean. To grasp the magnitude of their feat, more people have walked in space than successfully rowed across the world’s biggest ocean.
How Jess Rowe and Miriam Payne made history rowing the Pacific Ocean
It took Jess Rowe and Miriam Payne six months, plenty of snacks and sleepless nights to row from Peru to Australia

I know many of these accounts. I suppose you could claim I'm a bot too, but frankly your responses seem far more canned than those of anyone questioning your unsupported assertions.

It’s not dooming to recognize what’s going on. Don’t be dismissive because someone hasn’t bought into your particular - and equally unsupported - wishcasting.

I’ve found the impulse to “break up the massing” to be a received wisdom of planners regardless of the frontage width or any other considerations such as construction quality and maintainability.

The fact that it was identified as basically unsupported by public so early is even worse somehow.

I am to Mamdani’s right on various things, and I would never tell other Jews how to Jew, but: (a) I would absolutely have voted for him happily over Cuomo and Sliwa, (b) the slander that he is anti-Semitic is wholly unsupported by evidence, and …

My personal opinion is that a "concurring specifically" caption is about as close to "the fuck did you say" as an appellate judge can get. And appellate decisions rarely call lower court findings "troubling," "alarming," "concerning," "problematic," an "unsupported assumption," and a "logical leap"

While SNAP benefits are being forced to be fully paid… they aren’t yet and that’s leaving families confused and unsupported.

If you can donate to your local food bank be it actual food or money it would help a ton as they are over stressed picking up the slack.

More new faces than ever this week.

One of my unsupported hot takes is that the loneliness crisis is caused in part by people not being bored enough. In most of my classes the students all stare at their phones until class begins. We’ve lost the precious boredom of eventually actually being bored enough to engage with others.

The class interests of those who own mainstream media are served by giving undue attention, credence, and legitimacy to right-wing views, even when they are odious and utterly unsupported by the facts, therefore they continue to give them undue attention, credence, and legitimacy

Seems simple to me

That's what the validation would be for. Being a tool from scientists for scientists it's a bit weird that we have to rely on anecdotal experience on our own manuscripts. Out of curiosity, I have also run the CRISPR 2012 paper (the one that won the Nobel) and it found 6 unsupported claims

If you mail an acceptance by the date they stipulate in the offer you have a contract. It is called “The Mailbox Rule.” Every 1L learns it. The Supreme Court is about to hand down the most unlearned, unsupported, ridiculously “reasoned” opinion on how it does not apply to mail in voting.
