Sat in a turquoise & white kayak in Plymouth Harbour / Barbican with blue sea and sky behind, in the distance the walls and Mayflower Steps (close to the site in the Barbican, Plymouth, from which the Pilgrims are believed to have finally left England aboard the Mayflower, before crossing the Atlantic Ocean to settle in North America on 6 September 1620) and the Leviathan sculpture - commissioned by Plymouth City Council and installed in 1996. The Leviathan is a sea monster in patinated steel on the Barbican in Plymouth. Came in about the middle of the pack. Tbh could have placed if crew & kite ⛵️💨🪁. Had a cracking sail, rarely <7 kts.

On the hook with the fleet below Whitby Abbey. We’re waiting for the tide - the harbor swing bridge only operates for four hours around high water.
