#trotsky
As long as they stay there. No Trotsky spiders exporting the revolution.

All rebels whether revolutionary or just reformists like me share Camus. Doesn’t matter if it’s someone like Trotsky #RedOctober NWA or Linkin Park the Beatles or even (Ass) on War Thunder who decides to win. Standing #uptopowerIRLispower but anon provides shelter until it’s time to burn that bridge

While standing up to power IRL is power anon offers freedom but protection which means actualbut reasonableexpectationofpower. U don’t have to look far to see people who died or/and fought to save a nation or a cause. Malcom X was that, Trotsky was that, Churchill was that, so not a can stop us now

Trotsky said it best. To those Senators that cosplay as fighters for Americans:

"The worst crime on the part of the revolutionaries would be to give the smallest concessions"

Entryism is a tried and proven strategy everyone.

Trotsky wrote about it, so don’t worry about losing your communist credential for those of you concerned about that.

There's no reason to respond to anything he says. The only response to him should be in the vein of Lenin when he wrote:

"P.S. Trotsky has sent in a silly letter. We shall neither print it nor reply to him."

He's not worth it. Let him wallow in his ignorance alone.

What‘s your opinion on Trotsky and/or Stalin?
November 10, 2025 at 6:21 PM
Say what you will about the merits of Trotsky’s contribution to Marxist revolutionary thought but if you’re going around earnestly saying that Trotsky is at the root of every Western crime against humanity then I can only presume you’re an actual insane person and/or a fed.

I certainly don’t object to being called leftist. I joke with my friends that I’m so far left that I make Trotsky look like a Republican in comparison. Anyway that’s not really the point.

what trotsky and sakai get wrong about fascism is they mistake the beliefs of the petty bourgeoisie who become fascists, and fascist rhetoric itself, for the actual principle aspect of fascism. namely that it is the rule of monopoly capital first and foremost

I think I’ll vote in local, state, and House of Reps elections and leave the senate blank.

Not sure those votes I make will be for Dems. Probably write in communists, greens, working families parties and if they aren’t there, write in Trotsky.

CW: poltics, mechaery of goverment, marxisist-lenisinm i guess?

anyway, seeing it displayed how knowingly and shittly the bolsavicks, under the direction of lenin, and trotsky, perverted what was a ground up thing, and forced it in to being just...

'It was Lenin and Trotsky during the First World War that raised the slogan that the enemy is at home and constitutes the UK and US ruling classes.'

Agree with your argument. Although the really irritating thing is even the arty bits of the Beeb are hardly Trotsky. Its pretty traditionally ‘liberal’ really. But even that is too much.

alt history where trotsky wins but still gets ice picked for petty intraparty squabble

Yes while Stalin was terrible he did pave the way for the golden age of the USSR (1956-1974) and the greatest leader of communism since Trotsky, Nikita Kruschev (played by steve bucheme in my second favorite film). (On the right is Zhukov hero of the Red army and secret cokacola fan IRL)

Vienna's coffee houses were laboratories of thought

Freud wrote there
Trotsky plotted revolution there
Stefan Zweig observed humanity there

Some yes. Myself no. Trotsky was an enemy. He collaborated with the nazis. Grover furr is an expert

Whatever happened to Leon Trotsky?
He got an ice pick
That made his ears burn
