One day people will realize true progressivism is *protecting* incremental wins which added up becomes transformative progress. Same. Prayer can be radical and transformative if it speaks truth to power or reveals a truth about power. I'm an atheist and have a MA in Biblical Studies. I spent 3 years at a liberal seminary for my degree and it taught me a lot about the power of faith based action for justice.

This is an area where I think both the tendency to flatten everything into "drama" or "harm" and the tendency of non-profit complex culture to conscript transformative justice rhetoric into just outright excusing powerful people doing terrible things have done considerable damage.

to transition in adulthood you must embrace the transformative power of cringe. I recommend becoming insane for several years. you were stunted in adolescence, you did not get to try on aesthetics and affectations, you don't know what you like and your personality is run through with scars to heal.
