#trait-based
My toxic personality trait is waking up sore and grumpy and changing all of my plans for the day based on that and then having some coffee and medicine and feeling better and putting those plans back in place

it is both an interesting fact about the world that a non-zero correlation exists between big five trait personality scores and self-submitted photos and it seems utterly fucking nuts for a company to make hiring decisions based on r ~= 0.25 papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers....

Just tried out the Monotropism questionnaire. Monotropism is a model of a key autistic trait - the tendency to focus intensely on a few interests. I answered honestly & scored pretty highly. It's an area with some research behind it & lots of community discussion.

A lack of empathy is a common trait of autocratic tyrants!

Rising fascism worldwide inspired me to write an allegorical trilogy on its perils: unjust war; failed democracy; race-based oppression.

Racial trait the easy answer is he’s like an earth genasi but gem based. Long answer I run a Spelljammers campaign and he’s a homebrew race.

Living🌍free from discrimination is a fundamental human right, enshrined in global declarations like the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, ensuring every individual can thrive without fear of bias based on race, gender, religion, or any other trait. Ensuring this is everyone’s role. @undp.org

The concept of "fitness" is central to evolutionary biology but it's not entirely worked out. There are multiple definitions, doubts about predictive power, problems with internal consistency. Here's a paper from last year attempting to solve some of these problems. doi.org/10.1093/evol...

Oh nice! Reminds me a bit of my own take of sorts via my character, Reshi. Hypno/martial artist based ninjas with a gooey trait to them~

A martial artist gi though honestly is a wonderful way to show off hypnodrones especially with the belts serving as hierarchies among them~

If you're running a separate instance, you're losing one key trait of the Postgres based solution: ensuring transactionality, e.g. when enqueuing a background job from within a business transaction. Which to me is the biggest appeal of this approach. Without it, I don't see the point really.

Trait-based ecology uses biological features to predict an animal’s ecology.

Sharks with certain fin shapes shapes have bigger gillslits, faster swimming speeds.

Can be measured from museum specimens- Rachel spent months in museums all over Europe.

There are so many things you could focus on and yet you decide to always focus on the bad stuff.
And there is no trait system in Paralives, this isn't the sims. The personality system is based on different parameters.

Honestly, i think he's disqualified based on how shitty his opsec is. It's his most right-wing coded trait.

"OH, shit, a cursory look into your history makes this whole thing fall apart" is pretty typical for the right.
"I have a nazi tattoo."

I'm willing to entertain folks suggesting that this isn't disqualifying, on its own, even if i disagree. I've known a lot of Marines who've made a lot of bad choices at 19.

"I'm willing to lie to the voters about my nazi tattoo."

We all agree that's beyond the pale, right?

I’m the same. For me personally, I’m primarily give them their normal characterizations and then the sexy stuff in bed is simply a decision, not a personality trait. I think that’s why I’m a switch. I like the idea of them just liking intimacy but it’s not based on their characterizations

This trait is made even funnier when you remember that Advent can freely reshape parts of his body based on subconscious desire (being able to have boobs or pussy when the need calls for it) but even if theoretically it could make his dick bigger It Just Never Does.
Small cock is part of his being.

I think that "wanting the game to be inclusive" isn't a trait that exists in isolation

It's often gonna correlate with other preferences that PF will be similarly unsuited for as D&D.

And if you must settle for sth suboptimal, might as well take the popular thing with a vibes-based play culture

Sounds like he's advocating for preferential treatment based on an immutable trait, i.e., being of European descent. Isn't this just a form of the DEI they have been complaining about?

House Finch. British Columbia, #Canada

Fun Fact: they have a unique diet, raising their young on plant-based foods like seeds instead of insects, a rare trait among birds

the idea that topping or bottoming is a personality trait is one of the most annoying things that's stuck around, especially in the younger queer community. The idea is based on sexism and homophobia; that the bottom is softer/more feminine and the top is aggressive. SEX IS JUST SEX. THATS IT.
“Especially for t/b bcs it affects how you characterize the characters.”

NO IT DOESN’T!!
Oh my god this is the problem!!
Ppl insisting “you have to tag because obviously the t/b affects their personality” when it’s writers who DON’T WRITE THEM LIKE THAT so how can we tag it!?

Interesting point, but if we're discussing involuntary biological reflexes as a "form of consciousness," a survival-based trait all animals possess, then I'm confused about what "consciousness" or "high consciousness" actually means in the context y'all are exploring
